Who:
rockstarwarbler and
jewhawk
What: Trying to make sense of it all
Where:Puck and Blaine's room
When: Third week of the school year
Rating: Who knows
Blaine had been sprawled across his bed with his face squashed into his pillow napping when he startled himself awake abruptly, probably from more strange dreams plaguing his slumber. He had come home from Dalton that Friday afternoon for his weekend stay at home, and was so exhausted, promptly flopped onto his bed to rest his eyes for a few moments before he should have headed to the kitchen for a snack, but ended up falling into a deep sleep. It was the end of the third week back of school, and after missing three months of school due to injury and then summer, Blaine was finding it really hard going to find his school feet again. He was repeating his sophomore year, so the work wasn't anything new, but he was just exhausted and struggling a little. Some days, he was plagued with terrible headaches or migraines, and it had been the niggling start of one of those when he got home that had him lying down on his bed after the drive home.
But he was awake now, and just reaching for his alarm clock to check the time from where he was sprawled on his stomach when he heard a knock at his door, which opened a moment later. The clock told him it was after seven pm, so he had actually been asleep for a good three hours, but he was oblivious to the fact his dad had been frequently checking on him in concern since arriving home from work. It was on his lips to protest dinner saying he wasn't hungry to whichever parent was trying to get him downstairs for dinner when he peered blearily at the door finding his stepbrother standing there. The stepbrother he had hardly carried a full conversation with in months, especially lately with Puck spending time in juvie.
Blaine rolled onto his shoulder with a sleepy frown. "Just tell Dad and Susie I'm not hungry," he mumbled, voice thick and hoarse from sleep as he gathered an armful of pillow and squashed it back under his head to drop back into a lying position.
